Individual Lessons(Terms)

I will give lessons consisting of one lesson per week (unless a different number of lessons is agreed upon) at your home or mine. Siblings/friends (maximum 2) of similar ability may share this lesson slot. Please see the calendar below for holiday dates 2018.

How much do Guitar/ Piano/ Theory lessons cost?

How Do I Pay For Lessons?

             Bank Transfer, Cheque, Cash, Post

·For the first 2 lessons, fees will be due immediately after each lesson. An invoice will then be sent by email for the third lesson onwards. 

·Payment is due in advance at the start of every calendar month. Invoices are sent by email 4 days before the 1st of the month and payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.

·Please note - Lessons will be suspended following non-payment of an invoice for more than 10 days beyond the payment due by date. Please contact me as soon as possible if you are having any difficulties with making payments to avoid losing your lesson slot.

·Fees will be reviewed annually in June.

What about cancelled lessons?

·48 hours’ notice is required for any lesson cancellation.

·In the event of a cancellation with this notice, I will do my best to re-schedule the lesson within the same week but this is not guaranteed.

·If less than 48 hours’ notice is given then the lesson and payment is forfeited unless there are exceptional circumstances such as illness. In this situation rescheduled lessons must be taken within 4 weeks or the lesson and payment is forfeited.

·If I have to cancel a lesson myself then I will either re-schedule, carry payment forward to the next Calendar month, or provide a full refund.

Termination of Tuition

·Two weeks’ notice is required for discontinuation of lessons.

Conduct

If using reasonable discretion, I feel unable to continue tuition on account of conduct by the pupil or anyone connected with the pupil which makes it unethical or unsafe for me to continue teaching the pupil, lessons will be immediately terminated and the fees for any outstanding lessons will not be refundable.

Additional lessons may be booked by prior arrangement during holiday periods e.g. Pupils find these beneficial In the run up to exam dates or when preparing for an audition.
